John Bredin is an educator, author and host of the nonprofit TV show
Public Voice Salon, an open dialogue on education, the arts and social change. His essays have appeared in The Brooklyn Rail, NY Press, Evergreen Review, and Huffington Post. He is also on a mission to educate the world about a great forgotten actress of the Belle Epoque, Blanche Walsh (the first American movie star), who played a key role in his family story. His latest creative adventure is a one-man show called "A Real Education," part of his "Save the World" tour.
