Alistair Campbell

Alistair MacKintosh Campbell is Reader in Applied Performance Practice at Queen Mary, University of London, the leading department for all performance research in the UK. His journey into adaptation, deconstruction and the extrapolation and negotiation of new forms of Augusto Boal’s work is the starting point for Campbell’s The Theatre Of The Oppressed In Practice Today, documenting his work over 30 years with the Theatre of the Oppressed movement. Campbell was made a Companion of LIPA (Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts) in 2018 by Sir Paul McCartney for his services to the field of Applied Theatre.
