Probably for the best.

And so, the Entertation Index, November 12-23:

Story continues below.

Apple, Fiona – For its upcoming Judd Apatow movie This Is 40, Universal Studios is highlighting for Oscar consideration Fiona Apple’s original soundtrack tune “Dull Tool.” Note: this is only the name of the song, and does NOT mean that Dane Cook appears in the film.

Bieber, Justin – Contrary to reports of his split with Selena Gomez, the 18-year-old pop star isn’t sure that the relationship is done. What’s really creepy is that thousands of 40-something moms out there just got angry reading that.

Chopper, American – Discovery Channel’s beloved bike-building reality show is ending its run after 10 years. Unfortunately, there are no other reality TV programs for you to watch.

Fieri, Guy – The celebrity chef opened his 500-seat Guy’s American Kitchen & Bar in Times Square this fall to a scathing New York Times review. That sound you hear is thousands of people not giving a shit what the NYT says about a place that serves an appetizer called Guy-talian Nachos.

Probably for the best.

Love, Courtney – The Hole frontwoman is not involved in Brett Morgen’s Kurt Cobain documentary, according to Love’s rep. Producers say they’ll be sure to call her if they need someone to show up drunk and barf on the craft services tables.

Lutz, Kellan – The Twilight star says that, contrary to PETA accusations, live wolves brought in for a Breaking Dawn: Part 2 after-party were not mistreated. Lutz said the caged agents and producers were lovingly attended to and given low-foam, 120-degree soy vanilla chai lattes upon request.

MKO + OS
I thought there were laws against this type of stuff.

Olsen, Mary Kate – The (comparative adjective) Olsen twin was spotted at a Knicks game snuggling with boyfriend Olivier Sarkozy, 42-year-old half-brother to French ex-president Nicolas Sarkozy. Pictures show the two being very affectio OMIGOD, WHAT IS THAT OLD MAN DOING TO THAT CHILD?!

Situation, TheJersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has sued Devotion Spirits for what he says is his contractually obligated 10% share in the company. For its part, Devotion says that Sorrentino drank his share.

Twilight – Friday’s premiere of Breaking Dawn ended the Twilight saga, but it turns out there was more drama than appears in the movie. According to director Bill Condon, the film almost received an R rating not for showing vampires being beheaded, but the accompanying sound effects. Condon replaced the crunching sounds with the far more disturbing squees of tweens swooning over Robert Pattinson.
