Each week, the CFR publishes a condensed, best-of-the-best version of The Brown Tweed Society‘s acclaimed Entertation Index.
It compiles the best dish, gossip and celebrity news filtered via Brown Tweed‘s unique sensibility.
The Entertation Index, Jan. 3-7:
Abdul, Paula — The former American Idol judge tells CBS News that she has never been “physically drunk” in her life, nor has she ever used “recreational drugs.” She uses them purely professionally.

Anthony, Marc — The Latin singer has been stung with federal and state tax liens exceeding $3.4 million. His wife, Jennifer Lopez, will reportedly work an extra week of judging on American Idol to pay it off.

Brown, Chris — Trying to rehab his career and image after assaulting Rihanna, Brown cut himself off at the knees by tweeting homophobic slurs at rapper Raz-B. Jesus, Chris, what else have you got up your sleeve? You’re lucky to have gotten a second act. Showbiz doesn’t do thirds.

Culkin, Macauley — Reps for the stars Macauley Culkin and Black Swan’s Mila Kunis have confirmed that the two have broken up (they were dating?) and have gone their separate ways. Kunis is taking her time by herself to enjoy the single life, while Culkin is spending his time by himself booby-trapping his Chicago suburbs home against burglars.

De Niro, Robert — The Goodfellas, Raging Bull and Little Fockers star has appeared in the trailer for the Italian drama The Manual of Love 3 (not to be confused with White Trash Hookers 3, available in an entirely different type of theater), where he’ll be seen making graphic love to Italian starlet Monica Bellucci. You know, as long as De Niro’s making any script that’s put in front of him, he might as well make one where he gets to get it on with Monica Bellucci, right? Looks like all that non-pickiness does pay off sometimes.

Donatacci, Camille — Kelsey Grammer’s soon-to-be ex-wife rejected a $30 million divorce settlement offer, believing that she is due at least $50 million as a partner in some of Grammer’s TV and other production ventures. She also considered the fact that…wait, Frasier made that much money?

Kunis, Mila — See: Culkin, Macauley
Lips, Flaming — Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne tells Rolling Stone that the psychedelic band’s plan for 2011 is to release new music every month of the year. But let’s face it: what this really means is that Wayne Coyne is telling Rolling Stone that the psychedelic band’s plan for 2011 is to stay super-high for the whole year.

Perry, Katy — While recording “Teenage Dream,” the sultry songstress apparently left a song off the album, but it has now been leaked. Don’t worry — you’ve probably heard the song before, under many different names.

Pollizzi, Nicole “Snooki” — The Jersey Shore star, who returns to television tonight, told Ellen DeGeneres during a recent appearance that she “still wakes up in a garbage can once a month.” That only makes sense, as she’s…actually, you know what, Snooki? You can’t keep tossing us grapefruits like this, really. You gotta start making things at least a little challenging.

Spider-Man — With the highly discussed, ultra-expensive Broadway show Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark still in previews, U2 frontman and songwriter for the show Bono attended the show for the first time Tuesday evening. He is currently listed as stable condition at New York-Presbyterian hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
