I’ve been booked to participate in another talkback following a preview performance of David Mamet’s Oleanna on Broadway, this one after the Sat., Oct. 10, 2pm matinee.
The post-show back-and-forth is called Take a Side: The Oleanna Talk-Back Series, and takes place following each preview performance at the Golden Theatre (252 W. 45th St.).
Moderating the roundtables are Cynthia Tornquist, President of Tornquist Productions LLC and a former correspondent for CNN, and Judith Kaye, the former chief judge for the state of New York. On Oct. 10, I’ll appear alongside critic Pia Lindstrom.
Directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes (Doubt), Oleanna is a gripping account of a power struggle between a male university professor (played by Bill Pullman) and one of his female students (played by Julia Stiles). Currently in previews, the production opens Sun., Oct. 11, 6:30pm.
Tickets – $116.50 to $76.50 – are available for purchase via www.telecharge.com, by calling (212) 239-6200, or by visiting the Golden Theatre. Oleanna‘s performance schedule is Tues., 7pm, Wed.-Sat., 8pm, matinees Wed. and Sat., 2pm, and Sun., 3pm. For more information, visit www.OleannaOnBroadway.com.
