ALLIANCE FOR THE ARTS TO CELEBRATE
THE PERFORMING ARTS IN NEW YORK CITY
AND
THREE INDUSTRY LEADERS:

JEROME ROBBINS FOUNDATION

The Alliance for the Arts will celebrate the performing arts in New York City by presenting the 2009 Alliance for the Arts Prize to Frederic S. Papert, founding president of the 42nd Street Development Corporation and the founder of Theatre Row; the Jerome Robbins Foundation; and the late Gerald Schoenfeld, longtime head of the Shubert Organization.

The event will support all of the Alliance’s work to serve the cultural community and public through research, advocacy, information services and marketing.

The event will be held at the Central Park Boathouse (East 72nd Street and Park Drive North in Central Park), on Monday, September 14, 2009, 6:30-10:00 pm.

The event will include cocktails, dinner, a prize presentation and a special appearance by Josefina Scaglione and Matt Cavenaugh, stars of the hit Broadway revival of West Side Story.
