With Politicos Set to Tour E. 93rd St., a Comic Video Endorses Marx Brothers Place



In an unexpected boost to its efforts to have a stretch of E. 93rd Street renamed Marx Brothers Place in honor of the comic geniuses famously raised in an endangered building on that block — and just one day before Robert B. Tierney, the controversial chair of the LPC, set to tour the block with the likes of City Council Members Dan Garodnick and Jessica Lappin, State Assembly Members Micah Kellner and Jonathan Bing, a representative of Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney, and Lolita Jackson from Mayor Bloomberg’s office — a group hitherto unknown to me called The March Studios has released an endorsement video for the cause that really captures the spirit of the thing.
